An ACTIVE LIFESTYLE WITH THE MOUNTAINS
Kaunertal is located in the west of Tyrol on the border with South Tyrol and is home to a municipality of 13 villages, including the main village of Feichten, where the Naturparkhotel Edelweiss is located. The glacier and the 589.2 km² Kaunergrat Nature Park characterize the landscape and nature. No oversized tourist destination awaits you, but a community consciously managed in the sense of gentle tourism. In summer as in winter, much revolves around the "mountain" experience.
The active pleasure starts right in front of our door. Cross-country skiing trails and winter hiking trails start right at the hotel, and on your days off the ski bus will take you to the surrounding ski areas. There also awaits the "Wildside of Kaunertal", a real place-to-be for freestylers and freeriders with a huge snowpark and numerous off-piste runs. Those who like it quiet can retreat to the nature park or experience Tyrolean customs up close.
Feichten is the center of the valley for locals and vacation guests. On site and within walking distance of the hotel you will find a supermarket, sports stores, some bars and restaurants as well as the indoor swimming pool Quellalpin with swimming pool and sauna.
