The Kaunertal Glacier ski area is one of the highest ski areas in Tyrol, home to snow and ice all year round. Every day the ski bus takes you from Hotel Edelweiß to the Ochsenalm valley station and on to the Weißsee glacier restaurant at 2,750 meters. In the ski area at the foot of the Weißseespitze attract over 55 absolutely snow-sure kilometers of slopes and 36 km of freeride routes. In spring and autumn, the famous Glacier Park, a first-class maintained fun park for all skill levels, is there for all freestylers and freeskiers. We think the ascent of the 3,495 meter high Weißseespitze, landmark of the Kaunertal valley, is a must for all mountain fans and touring enthusiasts. Get tips from the Kaunertal mountain guides.
