Edelweiss spirits tastings
It is not only the charm of the mountains that warms the heart at the Hotel Edelweiss, but also the self-distilled spirits of our Holderli distillery, obtained from the best ingredients of the nature park & glacier region. The tradition of distilling schnapps has been passed down in the Praxmarer house for generations.
We distill apples, pears, plum, Spänling (a type of plum) and our traditional rowanberry and gentian schnapps. New in our assortment is also quince, apricot and raspberry. We offer weekly tours with tasting. Cheers.

Since spring 2017, your host Klemens Praxmarer can count himself among the circle of noble brandy sommeliers in the Nature Park & Glacier Region. Edelbrandsommeliers or Edelbrandsommelières are experts in the field of processing and tasting of local noble brandies. By making a special contribution to raising awareness of rural specialties through their art, they are considered valued ambassadors in their region.
